Our curriculum is vibrantly enriched: Kindergarteners participate in the annual Q-U wedding festivities.

New discoveries with friends

Our learning programs

Preschool

Brighton is committed to the total needs of your preschooler. It is our goal to prepare each child for a successful entry into elementary school. Our curriculum fulfills the Head Start Domain Elements, Standards and Indicator guidelines and is consistent with the National Association for the Education of Young Children guidelines for curriculum content.

The 2-year-old curriculum is based on a literacy-building curriculum that improves speech and language skills, creates an atmosphere combining literacy with fun and learning, and captures the fun of using rhyme, rhythm and repetition as a tool for promoting language.

Our 3-year-olds know their letters, days of the week, months, can count backwards from 10, can tell you who is on a penny and a quarter! Our program offers Pre-Math (introduction to the concept of number recognition, counting, and geometric shapes), and Pre-Reading (introduction to the alphabet, visually and orally, and listening comprehension).

Our 4-year-old children are offered a challenging, stimulating environment in which to learn and grow. Our program can be described as a watered-down version of kindergarten and features Saxon Phonics and Saxon Math.

Kindergarten

Brighton offers an affordable private kindergarten with a very limited class size!

Kindergarten is an exciting time for parents and children alike. The students are embarking on an educational journey that continues through their high school years. It is my intent and desire to make sure that I give them a strong foundation intellectually, socially and emotionally.
